3DVerkstan AB
About us
Best digital manufacturing methods, most appreciated services and the best support.
At 3DVerkstan, we aim to make it easy and profitable for as many industries as possible to use 3D printers and 3D scanners. We will help to streamline, change and optimize business or processes through additive manufacturing. Our customers range from artists and schools, to product developers and heavy industries, so we know we have the knowledge and products needed to succeed in any industry.
In the electronics and electrical industry, quality control is critical to ensure that circuit boards and devices meet design requirements and deliver reliable performance. 3D-solutions such as 3D-printers, PCB-printers and 3D-scanners plays a key role by enabling fast, precise digitization of components, modules, and finished products throughout the production cycle – from incoming material inspection to final testing and repairs.
In a manufacturing landscape heavily reliant on manual work in assembly, testing, and packaging, 3D-solutions offers both efficiency and accuracy. Technicians can easily recreate missing or damaged parts, while purchasers benefit from reduced inventory and on-demand local production. For OEMs and consumer electronics manufacturers, this translates to faster time-to-market, reduced costs, and more sustainable operations.
During Elektronikmässan 2025, we will display a selection of our range and our services such as 3D printers, PCB-printers, CAD and 3D-scanners. We also offer but do not display at the show, lasercutters, Water jets and Desktop pressure form. Please contact us for a visit in Solna to see the full range of products and services at our showroom and print-studio.
We want the visitors to be inspired, add knowledge and get to know the people at 3DVerkstan.
Welcome to meet us at our Booth F:08
3DVerkstan was founded in 2013 as a supplier of desktop 3D printers, and has since then played an important role in promoting and implementing additive manufacturing throughout the Nordic region. The company has grown in both suppliers, geographically and in staff over the years and, in line with demand, have expanded on both the service and product side with large-scale industrial 3D printers, industry-specific materials, 3D scanners and other machines for manufacturing. 3DVerkstan AB has been part of Solid Print3D Company for a year now and we still have the same goal as always and that is to be able to offer the best digital manufacturing methods, most appreciated services and the best support.

Mayku - Pressure forming on the workbench
Pressure forming, or vacuum forming, is an advanced development of traditional vacuum forming and is increasingly used in the packaging industry. The method is based on a heated plastic sheet being pressed against a mold using strong air pressure, which means that even the smallest details in the mold are reproduced with high precision. The result is packaging with sharp lines, complex structures and a surface finish that can compete with injection molding – but with significantly shorter lead times and lower tooling costs. This makes the technology particularly attractive for customized trays, containers and product packaging for everything from consumer goods to electronics and medical technology. Multiplier from Mayku is the world's first press made in a format that fits on the workbench, which has made press forming more accessible even to smaller players in the packaging industry. By combining industrial-grade precision with a more compact format, it makes it possible to produce prototypes, special packaging and design solutions in the same quality as in large-scale production. For companies looking to differentiate their products on the shelf, work with unique logos or create robust packaging with a high finish, pressure forming with Multiplier offers a cost-effective and fast path from idea to finished product. 3D-printers from UltiMaker
Whether you’re responsible for maintenance, production efficiency, packaging design, or innovation strategy, our stand will show you real-world examples, hands-on demonstrations, and the latest 3D printing technologies from UltiMaker, making it clear why additive manufacturing is no longer optional, but essential. Over the past decade, we’ve worked with packaging plants across Europe to identify high-value, low-complexity applications for 3D printing. These aren’t futuristic ideas—they’re real tools, jigs, fixtures, and spare parts already in daily use on packaging lines. One of the most common insights from our projects is that many parts traditionally made in metal are unnecessarily complex and costly for their function. With today’s range of engineering-grade polymers, you can achieve the right strength, temperature resistance, and chemical durability without relying on metal. Because 3D printing is additive—building parts layer by layer—it also unlocks geometries impossible to machine. That means you can lightweight parts, reduce material usage, and even print with multiple materials in a single job. The result? Purpose-fit, cost-effective parts that are faster to produce and easier to adapt to changing production needs. UltiMaker systems make professional 3D printing accurate, accessible, and reliable for packaging plants: - Open material platform – widest polymer range in the desktop segment. - Dual extrusion – combine support or multiple materials in a single print. - NFC material recognition – automatic setup for consistent results. - Proven reliability – precise, repeatable parts for demanding environments. 3D printing is no longer just about prototypes. It’s a proven tool for real production challenges in the packaging industry. From lightweight suction cups to ergonomic tools, from custom changeover parts to redesigned assemblies, additive manufacturing provides flexibility, independence, and efficiency.

3D-scanners / 3D-scanning as a service
We offer 3D scanning as a service and sell handheld scanners for professional use. In the packaging industry, 3D scanning is used to quickly and accurately digitize existing products, prototypes and injection-molded parts. This enables efficient reverse engineering, quality control and design adaptation. Scanning provides an accurate basis for CAD modeling and can be used to ensure a perfect fit between product and packaging – saving time, reducing material waste and increasing the precision of the development process. Our 3D scanners from Shining3D and Artec3D are designed to be user-friendly, with intuitive software that simplifies the scanning process. This makes it easy for users to quickly set up and scan their objects, even if they have limited experience with 3D scanning. We offer a range of 3D scanners to suit different applications and budgets, and these handheld scanners are lightweight and portable, making them ideal for on-site scanning and inspection. If you don't want to invest in your own scanner, we will carry out the task for you.
