Grafische Groep Matthys has become a member of Packbridge, northern Europe’s largest packaging cluster, based in Sweden.
Building a bridge between Belgium and Sweden
We are pleased to announce that Grafische Groep Matthys has become a member of Packbridge, northern Europe’s largest packaging cluster, based in Sweden.
Packbridge brings together companies, knowledge institutions and organisations from across the packaging ecosystem. The network focuses on innovation, sustainability, knowledge sharing and collaboration across the entire packaging value chain. With hundreds of members from various disciplines, Packbridge is a driving force behind the future of the packaging industry in northern Europe.
By joining Packbridge, we are taking a deliberate step towards the Swedish and Danish markets. These are markets with a strong tradition in premium packaging, sustainability and graphic innovation, areas in which Grafische Groep Matthys has built up solid expertise over the years. We specialise in innovative cold foil printing, a high-quality inline finishing technique that gives packaging, book covers, labels and other printed materials a distinctive metallic or holographic appearance. Sustainability runs through everything we do, from responsible material choices to low-waste production methods, making us a natural fit for markets where environmental responsibility is not just appreciated but expected.
We look forward to exchanging knowledge, collaborating on projects and contributing our experience in premium packaging solutions to the Packbridge network. Our membership is a next step in our international growth, following our existing activities in Belgium, the Netherlands and France.
This step is taken with the support of our shareholder Group Joos, a strong and internationally active partner in security printing and graphic communication.
