Behind the scenes, millions of possible combinations are evaluated to always choose the fastest route through the warehouse. WAREMATIC does not rely on simplified assumptions, but starts from your warehouse, exactly as it looks. Using a true 3D geographic layout of your warehouse – including aisles, cross aisles, one-way streets and dead ends – WAREMATIC calculates the shortest possible route for each picking round. This ensures that pickers always take the shortest route, reducing the distance of the picking rounds by up to 40% compared to traditional WMS picking logic.
